“Give thanks to God for the gift of sport, in which the human person exercises his body, intellect and will, recognizing these abilities as so many gifts of his Creator.” – Saint Pope John Paul II

I have heard a lot about making the most use of my morning walk. I pray the Rosary while walking and being lead by Father Rocky on the Relevant Radio app. Relevant Radio is a Catholic Network and their app has some really great resources.  You should check it out.

Depending on how far I walk on the day of or how much time my schedule allows for me to be out. When I am finished praying the Rosary and sometime the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, I will also have Skype meeting with our team or with my Virtual Assistant. Doing multiple things at once is something I have learned from attending Tony Robbins events.

I feel called to go out in the morning even if it rains. Yes, it’s cold and wet, but it’s refreshing! I won’t miss the chance to enjoy the smell of fresh morning air. Wearing wool socks and not so waterproof shoes. Plus, a thin raincoat because I don’t want to overheat. Including my usual Bose wireless earbuds and my Marriott Wailea Beach Resort, Maui baseball cap I have been using for a few years now. It starting to fade now from the daily walks in the sun.

It was on one of these days, on one of these amazing walks that I realized something.  I realized that God is good and that life is only amazing because of him. Exercise is purification of the body, which helps us to be open to purification of the spirit.

That day was refreshing beyond imagination. The coolness in the air ran across my face and ran right into my body and woke me up! The smell of clean fresh air calmed me and the greetings from the birds made me feel invigorated.

Are morning walks just exercise?

Morning walks are not just exercise for me. I walk to clear my anxiety and start the day with energy and vitality. I exercise to bring energy to my business and life. If it weren’t for my morning walks, I would not be able to accomplish all that I do. I do more on any given day then most! I am not boasting. It’s a simple fact that I work from first thing in the morning until I collapse at night. This energy also lifts up those around me.  It helps my family and our employees to do their best as well.

Many of us who work in an office may get exhausted staying in a work place all day long. Especially recent with COVID-19 and many people working from home. It is more and more difficult for people to just get up and get outside. Walking is my solution!  What is yours? Please post comments and let me know how you destress or get your workout in.  Thank you. Take care, be safe and God Bless!
